Don't laugh at its name!  As the other burrs are "fantastic" in their action, this one is almost unbelievable in how it can thin a nail and leave it as smooth as a piece of glass.  Use this burr from your right to your left across a nail.  This burr is one solid shaft of carbide with the teeth cut diagonally into it.  This has all the qualities of a diamond burr, (smoothing without cutting skin) as well as being able to remove a layer from the dorsal surface of the nail with each pass.
