Use this burr for deeper corns, thick nails on the lesser toes, deep soft corns, dissecting around the neurovascular corns tht are so difficult to reduce with a knife.  Also for corns on the distal ends of the lessor toes.

 

The carbide chips are larger in all course grain burrs and therefore reduct callused tissue much faster and easier.  This burr really shows its stuff on those deep soft corns right between the 4th and 5th toes.  All FANTASTIC burrs have cutting edges right out on the end of the burr so you can go straight into a corn with the end of the burr.  another place that you will appreciate this burr is when you have that painful Neurovascular corn that is almost impossible to trim without bleeding.  You can get around that nerve ending and small vessel a lot easier with this instrument.
